I’m excited to announce I’m running for another term as Mayor of the City of Carver and I’m seeking your support!

As Mayor I have improved transparency and strengthened public understanding of City Council decision-making by increasing communication and providing frequent updates to Carver residents and other community stakeholders. This includes writing monthly articles for the Carver Connections newsletter, frequently submitting articles to Carver County Local News and the Waconia Patriot, and maintaining my own mayoral Facebook and Instagram channels. Another example of how I pushed for more transparency includes ensuring City Council work sessions are broadcast live, recorded and made available on the City’s website – a practice which began a few months into my first term as Mayor.

Over the past eight years I’ve also lobbied on behalf of the City of Carver, resulting in $12.75M in grant funding from local, state, and federal sources for the Levee Improvement Project. Construction on this project, which will modernize the Minnesota River levee so it can continue to protect the City of Carver from floods, safeguard homes and businesses, and support continued investment in Carver’s Historic District, is anticipated to start this fall.

These are just two examples of the impact I’ve made as Mayor, but there is still more to be done. I’ve seen firsthand the difference we can make in our community when feedback is welcomed, residents are engaged, and action is taken on their behalf. In my next term, I’ll continue to focus on transparent and timely communication, fiscal responsibility, and thoughtful, well-planned growth while preserving and promoting Carver’s Historic District.

I am confident that my experience, relationships, strong work ethic and record of results make me the right person to continue leading Carver forward. I’d be honored to have your vote on Nov. 3, 2026.
